Supporting the Arts for Young People
Performances promoted via this site are intended as a fundraising vehicle for Acting Up, a young performer's community theater organization based out of Mason, Ohio, USA.
Acting Up is a non-profit 501(3)(c), all volunteer organization. Each professional quality production presented by this organization typically involves a cast of 50-70 young performers between the ages of 5-18. Acting Up does not charge a participation or costume fee to these young actors. However, each production typically requires a budget of $12,000-$20,000. Acting Up relies solely on volunteerism, ticket sales, grants, and donations to sustain it's mission and objectives.
The entire fee paid by you for a visitation from The Haunted One SM goes directly to support Acting Up.
Ulterior Motives
I am also a "frustrated actor", having never taken the risk of going into professional acting as a career. Instead, my passion for acting is fed by my involvement as an actor in local community theatre productions, and as an acting coach and director for young performers community theatre.
The Haunted One SM project is my personal fundraising effort to help sustain Acting Up and its mission and objectives. However, it also presents me with additional opportunities to participate in theatrical entertainment.
